Emilia Tongwa, MSN/EDU, RN
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Emilia Mbeng Tongwa is the visionary founder and Chief Executive Officer of Emieric Home Health, bringing more than 20 years of clinical expertise and healthcare leadership to the organization. Her nursing career has progressed from Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to Registered Nurse (RN), followed by leadership roles as a Supervising Registered Nurse at major California state hospitals.

She earned a Master of Science in Nursing Education (MSN) from Grand Canyon University, an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from West Coast University, and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Yaoundé. Fluent in both English and French, Emilia also holds ACLS and BCLS certifications.

With extensive experience in patient care, clinical supervision, staff development, and healthcare operations, Emilia is dedicated to delivering compassionate, personalized, and high-quality home health services. Her leadership is driven by a commitment to helping clients achieve greater independence, improved well-being, and exceptional care in the comfort and safety of their own homes.

Eric Efuetngu, DNP, MSN, LL.B, FNP-C
Executive Officer

Eric Efuetngu serves as the Executive Officer of Emieric Home Health, providing strategic leadership with a strong focus on clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and patient-centered care. His unique combination of advanced nursing expertise and legal knowledge enables the organization to maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and ethical healthcare practices.

With a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Bachelor of Laws (LL.B), and certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), Dr. Efuetngu brings a multidisciplinary perspective to home healthcare. His extensive experience ensures that every aspect of care aligns with evidence-based practices, healthcare regulations, and industry best standards.

Over the course of 12+ years in nursing, Dr. Efuetngu has gained comprehensive clinical experience in critical care, family practice, psychiatry, and long-term memory care. His leadership experience as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Clinic Manager further strengthens Emieric Home Health’s operational excellence, allowing the organization to deliver personalized, compassionate, and high-quality care that empowers patients to live safely and independently in the comfort of their own homes.

Edward Tongwa
Administrator

Edward Tongwa brings over 36 years of healthcare leadership and clinical experience to Emeric Home Health. As a Licensed Psychiatric Technician and experienced Nursing Coordinator, he is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care while leading with integrity, respect, and excellence.

Throughout his career, Edward has managed multidisciplinary healthcare teams, overseen complex clinical operations, and held leadership roles with the California Department of State Hospitals, UCLA, and hospital Nursing Executive Committees. His expertise includes healthcare administration, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and accreditation readiness.

As Administrator of Emeric Home Health, Edward is committed to delivering exceptional home healthcare services that improve the health, independence, and quality of life of every patient while fostering a culture of compassion, professionalism, and clinical excellence.
